libgfortran3-dbg-alpha-cross software package provides Runtime library for GNU Fortran applications (debug symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgfortran3-dbg-alpha-cross
libgfortran3-dbg-alpha-cross is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgfortran3-dbg-alpha-cross package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgfortran3-dbg-alpha-cross *
